Tropical Neon Nails!!
What a fun way to start off your Spring Break! My friend was heading to Miami and she wanted something tropical. So we mixed and matched some neon colors as the base and I painted palm trees on her ring fingers. It looked too bare without nail art on the others so we got risky and experimented with nail stamps. All in all, I think it was a great success!
Here’s a popular floral design that I’ve been seeing quite often. I assumed it was going to be difficult, but it’s really not.
I used a striping brush to draw on dark green leaves first, then I dotted pink and white polish over the center to create the flowers.
This is my first nail art stamp manicure and I’m pretty satisfied with the results. It’s tough to get used to because the stamps don’t always come out perfect. You need to practice on paper till you get the hang of it. I also used regular nail polish instead of stamping polish and it looks great in my opinion. Here’s what I used for this easy DIY manicure:
MASH Double Sided Nail Plate Art Stamp and Scraper
SHANY 2012 Nail Art Polish Stamp Manicure Image Plate
Base color: Sally Hansen Diamond Strength No Chip Nail Color - Black Diamonds
Stamp color: Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear - White On
